Blackjack. The Basics.
Blackjack is a fairly straight forward game to play and easy to pick up. Bear in mind, though, that you will increase your odds by playing to a perfect strategy.
You place your bets before any cards are dealt. The dealer then deals 2 cards to everyone and 2 to himself.
Cards 2 through 10 carry their face value, A, K, Q count as ten, and the Ace is either one or eleven.
you land a blackjack if your 1st 2 cards are an Ace and a 10 value card (10, J, Q, K). In this scenario you win automatically, unless the dealer also has one- then its a tie.
The objective at a blackjack casino, is to achieve a hand that is higher than the Dealer's hand without going bust (over 21).
Ask for another card by selecting "Hit".
Keep your current hand by selecting "Stand".

Spilt Aces 10 times out of every ten!
Always stand on a hard 17 (no ace or 17 with ace counted as 1) or higher.
Keep going until you have at least 17 against a Dealer's 10.
Hit a hard 12 if the Dealer's face up card is 2, 3, 7 or more.
Hit a soft 13 through 17 if the Dealer has 7 or higher.
