Casino Craps
Craps is a fantastic game to play for the adrenaline buzz, but one of the difficulties with the game is its comparitive complexity compared to say roulette or blackjack. But this is where a good online craps casino comes into its own. You can perfect your skills and understand all the bets that craps has to offer without feeling intimidated by the atmosphere around the craps table, which is generally pretty highly charged due to the nature of the game. You can even do it for free, if you like.

Craps- The Basics
The aim in a Craps Casino is to bet on a dice roll. Depending on your prediction based on set bet categories, youŽll either win or lose.
Craps is played with 2 dice. The Player, also known as the "shooter", puts down his or her bets and then throws first, or "come-out", roll.
If a Craps Player lays down a "pass line" they are predicting that the shooter's roll will be successful. These are the following scenarios that are deemed successful:
A 7 or 11, the Player wins.
A 2, 3 or 12, the Player loses.
A 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, the Player wins if a "point" number is thrown again before the 7, and loses if no "point" number is thrown.
The placing of a "don't pass" bet is the opposite - betting that the Player will fail. These are the following scenarios that are deemed unsuccessful (ie the donŽt pass bets win):
7 or 11, the Player wins.
2 or 3, the Player loses.
12, a Tie is called.
The Player loses if there is a 7 out after the come-out roll, and can end the game at any time provided there are no bets placed.
Craps Tips
As in all casino games, Craps does not have one individual winning strategy that is guaranteed. Instead opt for methodologies that can help keep your play methodical- you need to hit a winning streak and then back out of the game while you are up.
Hedge betting
This is where you place bets that almost (but not quite) cancel out another bet. For example, a pass line bet can be hedged by betting the 'any Craps' bet. What yo uare doing is reducing your risk, but you are also bringing down your payout.
Reverse Progressive Betting
Another craps strategy- such as the Reverse Martingale Craps double up theory. Each dice roll you win, you increase the current bet by that first one. If you lose you bet the current amount minus the initial one. While you are winning you up your bets and if you are losing, you bet the same amount but in a descending fashion.
Anything But Seven
A craps strategy that allows you to win on anything thrown other than a 7. DonŽt place any wagers on the Don't Pass or Pass Line, but hold back until a point has been set. Place 2 bets on 5, 6, and 8. Place one bet on the Field. Beware- this is riskier than above, but the pay off can be bigger if your numbers come in.
